About Us
Martin Luther School provides a comprehensive and integrated special education program that connects academic rigor with emotional support and personal growth. With a strong focus on literacy, math, and the full range of PA core academics — plus engaging electives, athletics, and social-emotional learning — we accompany students from across the Greater Philadelphia region with care, purpose, and pride.
Our faculty and staff accompany students across two campuses. Martin Luther School – Whitemarsh provides a holistic program for K-12 students with additional social, emotional, behavioral, and learning support. Martin Luther School – Plymouth offers an autism-centered program for K-5 students that is designed to meet each child where they are, build upon their individual strengths, and support them to be successful.

Our Philosophy
At Martin Luther School, we believe every child can achieve great things when given the right support. We combine strong academics, caring relationships, and a true sense of belonging so students learn to think deeply, care about others, and grow into confident young people ready to take on the world.
Our faculty and staff are trained in Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), using approaches that help students understand and manage their emotions, set and achieve goals, build positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
